A zebra puzzle is the classic "who lives where" logic challenge: several houses stand in a row, each with a different resident, pet, drink and hobby. A list of clues tells you who is next to whom, who lives where, and who owns what. Your job is to match every detail to the right house using deduction alone, the same format as Einstein’s famous five-house riddle.
This is today’s daily zebra puzzle, identical for every player and reset at midnight UTC. Each puzzle is generated with exactly one deducible solution, so it can always be finished with pure logic. Past puzzles live in the archive, and unlimited mode generates fresh ones whenever you want more.

Zebra Puzzles Tips
- Translate every clue into grid marks immediately. "The Coffee drinker lives next to the Cat owner" rules out positions at the far ends for that pair before you know either party.
- Hunt for fixed positions first. A person pinned to a specific house ("Ben lives in House 2") anchors several other deductions around it.
- Use "somewhere to the left of" aggressively. Even without exact positions, left-of relations can cut a candidate’s possible houses roughly in half.
- When a house has only one candidate left for a category, fill it in and cross out that value everywhere else, then re-check every adjacency clue touching it.
- Watch for the chain reaction. In a five-house zebra puzzle, placing the fourth house’s pet often forces the fifth by elimination.

Daily zebra puzzles scale through the week: Monday and Tuesday feature three houses with two attribute categories for a gentle start, Wednesday to Friday add a fourth category, and the weekend delivers the full five-house, five-category riddle in the spirit of Einstein’s original.
